Florence in Woodbridge

Woodbridge is our postal town. Our address is a Woodbridge one, the car is garaged fifteen minutes away, and a Woodbridge wedding is the shortest journey we make all year – which means no motorway, no traffic risk, and a car that arrives clean rather than covered in A14 grime.

Florence has done this run properly. She has carried a bride from Ufford to the Shire Hall on Market Hill and back out to the Crown at Ufford afterwards, and she has spent a long June afternoon on the grass at Butley Priory while the photographs were taken.

She is a chauffeur-driven Nissan Figaro convertible. Against the Tide Mill, the quay or the Deben itself she looks entirely at home, and the lanes out towards Butley, Orford and Bawdsey are exactly the sort of road she was built for. On a fine day the roof comes down for the run. If you would like to see her before booking, Woodbridge couples have the easiest time of it – we are ten minutes up the road and always happy to arrange a private viewing.

Getting to Woodbridge

Bedfield to Woodbridge is about 14 miles, some 25 minutes down the B1116 and A12. Everywhere from Melton and Martlesham to Orford, Butley, Ufford and the Bawdsey side of the river is on our doorstep.
