Florence in Norwich

Norwich is a city built for a small car. The streets around the Cathedral and Elm Hill are cobbled, narrow and often closed to anything large, and a stretched limousine spends the morning looking for somewhere to turn round. Florence does not have that problem – she has collected from the Earlham Road side of the city and from the Castle register office in the middle of it.

She is a Nissan Figaro convertible, chauffeur-driven, with a retro interior that photographs beautifully against Norwich flint and brick. With the roof folded down she frames a bride rather than hiding her behind tinted glass – which matters when the photographer only has twenty minutes at Waterloo Park before the reception.

Norfolk as a whole is a county we know well. Beyond the city we have driven weddings out to Waxham Barn on the coast at Sea Palling, over to Curds Hall Barn at Dereham, and up to the beach at Wells-next-the-Sea for photographs. If your Norfolk wedding is not in Norwich itself, ask anyway.

Getting to Norwich

We are based at Bedfield in mid-Suffolk, about 32 miles south of Norwich – roughly 50 minutes up the A140. Norwich, and the villages out towards Wymondham, Sprowston and Poringland, all fall inside the area we cover as standard, and we travel further into Norfolk regularly.

Florence has taken a pupil to their prom at Norwich City's stadium on Carrow Road, on one of the hottest evenings of the year with the roof down. She collects from home, allows time for photographs on the drive, and delivers to the door. Prom hire starts at £200.
